One of my "watermelon bling" beads, a series I have been making.  Made with my special boo boo frit number one...and firey red dichro...some twisties of color and silver mesh...the color combo reminds me of summer and fresh watermelon.  This is a button focal bead that was wound on a 1/16" mandrel out of moretti/effetre glass and kiln annealed.  The bead measures approx 30~mm by 13 to 14~mm thick.  Please click the photo for the medley shot of the bead in hand, side view and coin shot and other side of bead.
